Youth Art Competition 2025

Eligibility Criteria:
Students up to Class 12 or equivalent in schools across the country

Art Theme (Choose at least one from the following topics)::
1. Loving-Kindness (मैत्री )   2. Compassion (करुणा )   3. Sympathetic Joy (मुदिता)   4. Equanimity (उपेक्षा)   5. Wisdom (प्रज्ञा)

Artwork Specifications :
One (1) painting on an 11x15 inch canvas paper.

Submission Requirements:
1. A brief description (maximum half-page A4) of the artwork.
2. Must be submitted via email to tathagatasolu@gmail.com.
3. Email must be submitted to tathagatasolu@gmail.com.

Competition Timeline
1. Final Submission Deadline: May 2, 2025
2. Shortlisted Artists Announcement: April 20, 2025, via an online portal.
3. Final Competition: May 11, 2025 (Baisakh 28, 2082) at Kathmandu University School of Arts with graduate students.
4. Competition Venue & Time || Location: Thengchen Pema Choeling Monastery, Saleri Courtyard. Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
5. Artwork Exhibition & Public Voting || Venue: Thengchen Pema Choeling Monastery Exhibition Hall. Date: May 12–17, 2025 (Baisakh 29 – Jestha 3, 2082)
६) Winner Announcement: May 18, 2025 (Jestha 4, 2082)

Prizes
1. The winners will be selected based on public voting and judges’ evaluation.
2. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive cash prizes and other attractive rewards. Additionally, the top 12 finalists will receive certificates.
